Lv.40 Cura - Restores HP for party members within area of effect.
Lv.41 Cure IV - Curing spell
Lv.42 Teleport-Vahzl - Teleportation
Lv.44 Regen II - Restores 12HP/tick for 20 ticks, or 240 HP over 60 seconds.
Lv.45 Flash - Temporarily blinds an enemy, greatly lowers its accuracy.
Lv.47 Protect(ra) III Enhances defense for party members within an area of effect. Increases target's Defense by 40.
Lv.48 Repose - Puts an enemy to sleep. Lasts for 90 seconds when unresisted, similar to Sleep II.

(SE also mentioned the possibility of lowering Sekkanoki so it can be used when SAM subbed)

NIN
Lv.40 Yonin - Increases enmity and enhances "Ninja Tool Expertise" effect, but impairs accuracy. Improves evasion and reduced enemy's Critical Hit Rate when in front of target.
Lv.40 Innin - Reduces enmity and impairs evasion. Grants a bonus to accuracy, critical hit rate, and ninjutsu damage when striking target from behind.
Lv.45 Dual Wield III
Lv.45 Subtle Blow III

DRG
They get absolutely nothing from 35 until 50.

SMN
Lv.38 Crimson Howl - Ifrit enhances party member's attack within area of effect. Attack bonus is 8.54% to 8.98%
Lv.43 Ecliptic Growl - Fenrir increases party member's accuracy and evasion within area of effect.Total increase in accuracy and evasion are equal to +26, but the exact amounts vary by moon phase.
Lv.44 Glittering Ruby - Carbuncle raises the party's stats at random. Raises one random attribute (STR DEX VIT AGI INT MND CHR) by about +12~14.
Lv.45 Clear Mind III
Lv.46 Earthen Ward - Titan grants Stoneskin to party members within area of effect.
Lv.47 Spring Water - Leviathan restores hit points to party members within area of effect and cures some status ailments.Removes blind, poison, paralysis, disease, petrification, sleep, silence, and sometimes slow.
Lv.48 Hastega
Lv.49 Noctoshield - Diabolos grants Phalanx to party members within area of effect.

Lv.40 Quick Draw - Shoot a bullet charged with the magical energy of an elemental card. Special items required.

I'd have to guess they won't allow abilities such as convert and treasure hunter II to go through. Alot of fun stuff in there. If you are allowed to cast refresh with a /rdm sub I can see it being a CURSE and not a blessing as mages who used to just heal and/or nuke just got assigned a new annoying task.

Nah, all mages that once would need refresh cast on them constantly, will probably all be /rdm, therefore can refresh themselves. Exceptions being sch can still sub something else, even though /rdm will probably continue to be most useful, because of sublimation, and whm might still sub sch, but can still use sublimation. With the 40mp cost factored in, refresh cast on yourself is not significantly more mana efficent than sublimation, unless someone with better math comes along and proves me wrong.

The only class I can think of that wouldn't be able to do this is PLD, pld will still want refresh, and although PLD/RDM will be even more of a beast for certain tasks, they will mostly still be pld/nin.

Additionally, I forsee another refresh spell coming down the tubes for those next 24 levels to make up for /rdm refresh.


As for other classes and subs, and convert. A whole lot of class defining abilities come in between level 35 and 50. We assumed this was why they were so convinced they would never raise the level cap, because everyone would be able to sub abilities like convert. think of all the hullabaloo if utsusemi: ni had been level 40, and now they were raising the cap to 80+, ninja has known how it feels to have job defining skills subbable this whole time. there may be a penalty in efficency with the skills, just like /nin, (3hp:2mp returned, say) but the point of upping the level cap is to include these abilities, the way I see it anyway.

And it's important to remember, there most certainly will be more powerful abilities that further carve out jobs at 80+ levels. if RDM gets convert2, which takes 100 hp and returns 1000 mp, /rdm convert1, isn't that fantastic. If refresh 2 gives an AoE 10mp/tic with 9 minute duration, getting 3(2.33 after cast cost)mp/tic from your sub isn't anything to cream yourself over.

This is all theorycraft of course, because knowing SE nobody will get any spells or abilities between level 75 and 99, and the only new enemies to fight will be blue crabs. Oh and they will probably just delete all our merits.

about refresh and sublimation, sublimation without the scholar af and relic is just a 2 mp refresh where as the spell is a 3 mp. if you have both pieces of equipment it becomes a 4 tick refresh beating the spell so subbing sch and using sublimation is only best if there is no red mage to cast refresh on you. and there's also the 30 sec down time where you get 0 mp
